The Diploma of Training and Assessment TAA50104 specifies the skills and knowledge required to engage in advanced training and assessment practice, with a particular focus on training and assessment leadership and developing and promoting cultures of learning.

Who is this for?

This program is for workers within established Registered Training Organisations (RTO) wishing to undertake a learning and assessment pathway to achieve the Diploma of Training & Assessment TAA50104.
Successful attainment of this qualification will equip you with the required skills and knowledge to provide leadership in training and assessment practice with specific emphasis on the development of workplace cultures of learning and development that are appropriate and applicable within an RTO.

Course content

This qualification is made up of 10 classroom days plus a range of individually selected tutorials.
This program is separated into two topic areas:

  • Providing leadership in training and assessment
  • Fostering and promoting workplace cultures of learning.

  • Classroom participation and presentation
  • Assembling evidence portfolio

Prerequisites

For entry into this program you must have achieved the core units of competence in the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAA40104 or have extensive experience working within a Registered Training Organisation or the VET sector.
