Parking


Carpark attached to the InstituteThere are some car parks on site but they fill up quickly. There is however, plenty of on-street parking available, including in the centre of Port Road. Parking is also available in the Entertainment Centre car park.

For your safety please remember to:

  • Close all windows
  • Remove all valuables
  • Lock all car doors.


Public transport


Bus

Catch buses 150, 153, 155, 156 or 157 from North Terrace in the city.
You will need to get off at bus stop number 7, on Port Road.

Accessibility: Most, though not all, of the buses that service this route are wheel-chair accessible. The route from bus stop 7 to the Institute is paved footpath and approximately 150 metres from the Institute. Please visit the link below for further details about wheel chair access.

Train

From the city, catch the Outer Harbor train and get off at the Bowden stop (the first stop after the city).

Accessibility: The trains have wheel chair access and there are ramps from the Bowden stop to the road which is approximately 400 metres from the Institute.
Please note: The train stop is more of a walk than catching the bus.
