Relationships Australia Course Brochure (formerly the COPE Course Brochure)

The Relationships Australia Course brochure formerly known as the COPE (Centre of Personal Education) course brochure has been published for over 20 years. It offers groups and training run by Relationships Australia (SA) to help people respond to challenges in life, to take opportunities to improve their wellbeing and to learn new skills for their workplace.

The courses are an enjoyable way of learning in small groups and are facilitated by qualified group educators. You can DOWNLOAD (5.54MB) the Course Brochure. Or you can browse the Course Brochure which is divided into these categories:

  • Family and Relationship Education courses are based on the idea that a sense of belonging and closeness is vital to our wellbeing and fulfillment in life. Whether we live in extended families, step-families, relationships with or without children or chosen family networks, our ‘family’ is usually our central source of intimacy and caring.

For many of us, family and intimate relations are what matter most in our lives. However, many of our most serious and complex problems can occur within the family. These courses aim to support you to develop the specific skills needed to create and sustain positive, valued relationships, deal effectively with relationship challenges and difficulties, explore and develop ideas of respect and self respect within our families and intimate relationships.

  • Lifeskills and Wellbeing courses are based on the idea that feeling good about ourselves often depends on how we get along with others. Our personal sense of wellbeing can help us to deal successfully with our family issues and also to respond to wider community issues. Acquiring specific skills and learning from the experiences of others can give us the confidence to tackle our individual problems and difficulties.

  • Workplace Education courses are designed to build on and extend the capacity of workers to develop skills, attain new knowledge and understanding and maintain effective working relationships. It includes an extensive range of education, professional development, training, workshops and programs which can also be tailored to suit your spefic needs and aligned to nationally recognised qualifications.

Some but not all of the courses in the brochure are subsidised by the Federal and State Governments.

* New Course Brochure will be available late December 2008 *
