Education and training in your personal life
The Institute is closely linked with services provided by Relationships Australia (SA) to deliver training and support to individuals, families, communities and organisations.
We offer courses to support both your personal and professional development:

Parenting and Relationships courses. To assist people in gaining skills for positive relationships, enable them to respond effectively to relationship difficulties and develop a healthy sense of self within their relationships.

Taking Care of You and Communication courses. This includes communication, assertiveness, managing emotions and a range of courses to build self-esteem and confidence.

Workplace courses. This includes working with conflict, negotiation and informal mediation, counselling skills, responding to challenging behaviours, domestic violence and inter-cultural communication courses, often aligned to national qualifications.

Peer support and peer education. For people who want to share their lived experience to support others and raise awareness in the community.

Community support programs. Aimed at assisting people to overcome issues such as domestic violence, mental illness or disabilities. This program also works particularly with Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders and multicultural people on a range of issues important to their wellbeing.
