Working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse

Respond SA training

Respond training aims to increase knowledge about childhood sexual abuse and develop practice skills for responding to and working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

The Respond courses consist of  1 or 2 days of  workshops and are aimed for health and community services workers across the state. Some of the courses we have delivered include:

  • Narrative approaches to working with adults subjected to childhood sexual abuse
  • Responding to adults subjected to childhood sexual abuse for workers in institutional care settings
  • Practice skills in working with adults subjected to childhood sexual abuse.

A training calendar is being finalised and details as updated will appear here in the Respond SA calendar.
