Working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse
Respond SA training
Respond SA training aims to increase knowledge and develop practice skills for responding to and working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Who is this for?
Respond SA training is for professionals working with violence and abuse. It is available for both individuals and organisations.
About this program
We have a range of courses that are relevant to professionals working with adult survivors of childhood sexual assault. Our training courses also cover broader issues of violence and abuse.
We can also discuss with you options for tailoring this training to suit your service and direct you with other learning needs you may have on these topics.
Course content
The Respond SA courses consist of one or two day workshops. They are aimed for health and community services workers across the state. Some of the courses we have delivered include:
- Narrative approaches to working with adults subjected to childhood sexual abuse
- Responding to adults subjected to childhood sexual abuse for workers in institutional care settings
- Practice skills in working with adults subjected to childhood sexual abuse.
