Gambling Help
South Australian gambling activity continues to grow with 534 lottery outlets, one casino, 12,581 electronic gaming machines across 569 venues and 344 TAB outlets.
For the majority of the adult population gambling is a pastime and social activity. However for an estimated 2.8% (almost 33,000) of adults, gambling has a harmful impact on finances, relationships, work life and personal health. The Institute coordinates a range of services to help raise awareness of problem gambling and to help workers in this sector.
