Julia Farr Youth – 2nd Peer Support Network Meeting

On Monday, May 2, Julia Farr Youth hosted its second Peer Support Network Meeting for young adults (17-35) living with a disability.

A Peer Support Network is a group of young adults who catch up once a month to share knowledge, experiences and practical tips with each other. It is also a chance to make new friends and just hang out.

The meeting was all about making connections, and Katie Wilson from the Australian Institute of Social Relations was there to join in the conversation to encourage and share some skills about building and developing social networks. Katie really enjoyed meeting and working with them all and found them a great bunch of people.

Julia Farr Youth (JFY) are a group of young people living with disability who are enthusiastic about disability youth issues. For more information about Julia Farr Youth click here.
