Congratulations to our team member Jazmyn for receiving this recognition as part of Adult Learners Week 2018 organised by the Department for Industry and Skills.
Jazmyn can now add a finalist for the 2018 Aboriginal Learner of the Year to her growing list of skills and experience. Jazmyn connected with the Adult Community Education Program through a Cert III in Community Services. The learning experience enabled Jazmyn to meet others in the same field, discuss similar experiences and gave her an employment focus.
After successfully completing her studies in November 2017, Jazmyn gained employment with us as a Client Services Officer at Relationships Australia South Australia. Her employment came about as a direct result of her traineeship.
Jazmyn is client focused, approachable and a well-liked team member. Her computer and sound administrative skills significantly contribute to servicing the needs of Relationships Australia SA and the Australian Institute of Social Relations that both run out of the Hindmarsh site.
“I am really proud of my achievements to date and am honoured to be a finalist for this award, which really goes to show that hard work does really pay off,” Jazmyn shared.
Jazmyn will continue to strengthen her skills and knowledge in this area by completing the Certificate IV in Community Services at the Australian Institute of Social Relations in 2018.
