Course Overview
This nationally recognised Certificate IV equips you with the skills to design and deliver person-centered services for young people with diverse and complex needs. This course, prepares you to build effective and respectful relationships with clients from all backgrounds, advocate for their rights, and respond appropriately to their needs. You will learn to recognize and address crises, including family violence, mental health issues, and abusive behavior, as well as refer clients to specialist services when required. Additional skills include maintaining networks, and working within a community development framework while adhering to safe, legal, and ethical practices. Graduates will be qualified for diverse roles in youth and community services, including Youth Worker, Community Development Worker, Case Worker, and Support Worker, with opportunities in areas such as mental health, disability, crisis intervention, advocacy, and drug education.

Fee
Full Fee: between $520 – $6000 Subsidies by the Australian and South Australian Government are available for eligible candidates.
